2. Niagara Falls
It is located on the far south of the province of Ontario, where the waters of Lake Erie fall almost 60 meters into Lake Ontario. Niagara Falls are among the largest, most beautiful and certainly the most famous waterfalls in the world. They represent the state border between the United States and Canada.
Waterfalls are fantastic from both states, although the Canadian side provides a better view. Day or night and regardless of the season, the waterfalls are still there and amazing to look at. 14 million visitors come to enjoy them annually. Even in winter when the flow is partially reduced and edges quite frozen, water extravagance is not reduced. Very rarely the waterfalls stop flowing completely. It first happened on Easter Sunday 1848 when the ice completely jammed flow.
